Large bone spur at the elbow
Seen here is a large osteophyte, or bone spur, at the tip of the patients elbow, also known as the olecranon. This often forms as a reaction when a patient has olecranon bursitis, or focal swelling at the tip of the elbow. The patient had the painful spur removed, as seen in the “after” x-ray.
